Personal Teaching Style Nov 2012
When a student has fond memories of a course or class, it’s usually because their instructor was unique. Does your personal style or “presence” come through when teaching online, just as unmistakably as it does in the traditional classroom? Just as your voice and gestures contribute to this style in a geographically based course, the appearance of your course shell, your lessons, and, above all, your use of language communicate your personality online. In this course we’ll look at ways to more effectively express your personality in the online classroom, and use it to build a sense of community.
