Kelly Wilmeth is the associate vice president for military support at the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) in Maryland, where she has served for three years focusing on ways to ensure service members, veterans, and military spouses are successful in achieving their educational goals. Kelly’s past assignments include serving as the UMUC Regional Manager in Korea, the University of Oklahoma’s Site Director in Korea, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Director of Operations in Hawaii, and City Colleges of Chicago-Programs for the Military Registrar/Director of Academic Support in Europe. A military spouse of 13 years, Kelly is married to Col Jamie Wilmeth, US Army. She and her husband have been assigned to Augsburg and Heidelberg, Germany; Ft. Belvoir, VA; Ft. Leavenworth, KS; Schofield Barracks, HI; Yongsan Army Garrison, Korea; and the Pentagon. Kelly holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Stanford University and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of New Mexico.
