OLC Awards Luncheon

Join us for lunch as we honor OLC Award winners for significant contributions to knowledge, practice, and innovation in online and blended learning. The OLC Excellence Awards, Digital Learning Innovation Awards, Best-in-Strand Awards, and Effective Practice Awards will be presented. The emerging leaders of the IELOL class of 2016 will also be recognized. Tickets for the Awards Luncheon ($25 onsite) are on sale at the Conference Registration Desk (Convention Foyer). All attendees and guests who wish to attend the OLC Awards Luncheon must purchase a ticket. The conference organizers are covering the additional cost of this plated three-course lunch over the ticket fee for attendees. If you do not plan to attend the Awards Luncheon, lunch will be on your own. Guests lunch tickets are $60 onsite.

Today’s Featured OLC Sessions

Thursday Special Events

An Evening at Disney

Tickets need to be picked up at the OLC Registration area (special Disney ticket desk) in the conference space at the Dolphin. Dinner is on your own this evening. Tickets must be picked up from conference ticket desk prior to departure for the event on Thursday. Anyone wishing to sell their ticket may do so with a fellow attendee using #OLCTIXSWAP

Following the conclusion of Concurrent Session 9 at 4:00pm, guests who purchased tickets during registration will make their way over to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios (via walking or Friendship boat ride) to be admitted for an evening enjoying one of these Disney Parks.

Note: Magic Kingdom is closed that evening; Animal Kingdom closes at 7pm and is not a recommended choice for that evening.

At 8:30pm, everyone with a green wristband who is not already at EPCOT should enter the International Gate at EPCOT, to be guided by a park employee over to the World Showcase patio. There you will join OLC for our final event of the evening – a dessert reception viewing of the IllumiNations fireworks/laser show, followed by private event access to the newly updated “Soarin’ Around the World” ride.
