Extended Abstract

Podcasting is radio for a digital age. More than an emerging form of media, however, it is also a movement gaining momentum. In higher education, podcasts are a powerful platform for ideation and innovation. Faculty and administrators use them for professional development, networking, and sharing strategies and best practices. Southern New Hampshire University is currently using podcasts across various areas of our institition, including in our College of Online and Continuing Education and the Sandbox ColLABorative, our lab of strategy and innovation. We also offer tips and best practices for getting started with podcasting and share information about some of our favorite podcasts in higher education and beyond.
