Remember Your Water Bottle OLC is committed to being green where possible. We will have water stations available throughout the conference space and during the breaks in lieu of providing bottled water. Bring your own water bottle, use a glass provided, or purchase an OLC Hydrate Water Bottle onsite at the conference registration desk for $7.  If you are a guest staying at the Swan or Dolphin, the 2 bottles of water in your room each day are complimentary. Be sure to take advantage of those bottles of water as well!

Today’s Highlights

Tickets for Tuesday pre-conference workshops, the OLC Leadership Network Event, Tuesday’s Awards and Leadership Ceremony and Reception, Thursday’s Women in Digital Learning Leadership Luncheon, and Thursday’s “Evening at Disney” will be available for the purchase at conference registration check-in.  Pre-registered Tuesday pre-conference workshop attendees will check in at their workshop rooms. There will be staff in the Convention Foyer to direct you to your pre-conference workshop room (Asia 1-3). 

BYOD!  Don’t forget to bring your own device (laptop, tablet, smart phone) for today’s workshop session.

*If you are registered for the workshop combo package (Tues AM and Tues PM workshops), we will provide a $25 meal voucher for lunch at Fuel in the hotel.

Field Guide Program

New to OLC Accelerate? Attended previous OLC conferences and want to share your knowledge and expertise? The OLC Field Guide program is designed to enhance the conference experience for first-time conference attendees and anyone looking for additional networking opportunities at OLC conferences. The Field Guide team has also put together several engagement maps to help you start planning which sessions to attend.  Sign up or meet a field guide onsite at the Field Guide Basecamp (across from registration). 

Exhibit Hall Preview

Check into the conference early during our Tuesday evening early registration hours (5-7pm; Convention Foyer), then join our exhibitors in the Atlantic Exhibit Hall for a special preview event. A complimentary drink ticket and snacks will be provided to all attendees checking in to the conference at early registration.  Stop by the Technology Test Kitchen to see what they are ‘cooking up’ during the conference, plus get an early start on your exhibitor stamp card for some fabulous prizes! Don’t forget to visit the exhibitors and enter to win some fabulous Sponsor and Exhibitor Booth Raffle prizes.  Visit our Special Events page and learn about our contests, including an OLC booth (#100) trivia contest, a social networking contest, and our Exhibitor stamp card contest – win an iPad Air 32GB and other prizes!

Evening Event: Proctorio’s Time Machine Quarantine – A Welcome Bash Going Back To The 80’s

Dance yourself clean in the time machine with Proctorio at the Atlantic Dance Hall on Disney’s Boardwalk. ”Don’t be such a square!” Join us for an evening of drinks and rewind back in time with the 80’s music you know and love. Proctorio invites you to enjoy a fun night on Disney’s Boardwalk Tuesday evening following a day of pre-conference events at the most bodacious conference in town – OLC Accelerate 2018! 

We’ll be hitting the dance floor at 88 Miles per hour while, “Great Scott!”, the Illuminations Fireworks can be seen from the Dance Hall. It’s going to be electric! (1.21 gigawatts worth).

Join us, starting at 7pm (immediately following early registration and the exhibit hall preview), at Disney’s Atlantic Dance Hall. You must be 21+ to enter. Conference attendees must show their attendee badge to receive a wristband to enter. Wristbands are limited and can be obtained at Proctorio’s booth during the exhibit hall preview or at the door of the event. If you arrive at the hotel after badge pickup closes, simply show the dance hall door staff your OLC Accelerate registration confirmation email as proof of attendance to receive your wristband. Dress up optional, but best 80s attire is eligible for a prize!

We are continuously improving our app. This new version has an improved platform as well as a new user interface and design. Please log in using your OLC user account to use features such as creating your custom schedule.

Please note: As part of our “green” initiatives, OLC is no longer using paper forms for session evaluations. Please use the OLC Conference mobile app or website to evaluate each session by clicking on “Evaluate Session” within each session listing.

Each session evaluation you complete (limited to one per session) using the mobile app will be one entry into our contest. There will be five $25 gift cards awarded to individuals who complete session evaluations using the mobile app.

Presenters who receive 10 or more evaluations will be entered into a post-conference prize drawing for a $25 OLC gift card.  

Create Your Personal Schedule

Add and remove sessions from the Program/Sessions listing on the website or in the mobile app to create a list of sessions you want to attend! Access your personalized list of sessions from the “My Schedule” tab on the Program page.

You must log into your OLC user account in order to access this scheduling feature. As long as you are logged in, your selections should sync across devices.

Activate Your Access to Conference Materials

Ensure you have access to all the uploaded session materials and streamed session recordings. 

• Log into your OLC website user account, then click the “Activate” button below to access session materials and streams.
• Select “Program” or “Streamed Sessions” from the “Activate” landing page. “Program” will direct you to the full program; “Streamed Sessions” will direct you to only those sessions that are being streamed.
• Click on the desired session title to view session details.
• You will find an orange “Watch This Session” button in the top right of the page of each session that is being streamed. If the session is not being streamed, there will not be a “Watch” button.
• Presenter-provided session materials (if available) can be downloaded by clicking on the orange “Session Materials” button. If there is no button, the presenter has not yet uploaded their materials.

Note: You must be logged in to your OLC user account to view the “Watch This Session” button on the streamed sessions.
