Extended Abstract

Ongoing faculty improvement plays a critical role in strategic planning, student satisfaction, and the overall quality of education. Key to development is a steady stream of improvement-based data, which faculty can use to enhance teaching effectiveness and student outcomes. The need for this data has never been greater as online learning continues to grow, making it a challenge to understand student expectations, needs, and concerns. That’s why it is imperative that institutions leverage the latest in teaching and learning technology to ensure that faculty have access to real-time student insights. This session will cover the need for usable improvement-focused data and highlight innovative tools that can help including Bluepulse, Blue’s response rate monitor, and faculty dashboards.
