OLC Innovate Community College Summit 2020 –
20/20 Vision Design: So you Think You Can Build Edition

About the Community College Summit

Community college educators have always been at the forefront of design and implementation of unique programs for diverse populations. Online programs help us meet the demands of a fluid workforce and varied student demographics. We must be learning engineers in the truest sense as we provide structure and infrastructure to sustainable and adaptable programs.

Step into our half-day design challenge event, where you will join a team of learning engineers to build a digital program from the ground up. In a friendly competition, each team of engineers will seek to win the bid of our distinguished panel of judges with academic program building expertise. Our panelists will challenge teams to consider all the components of effective online, web-based, and blended programs. You’ll draw upon the knowledgebase of your peers and design-mates, incorporate the components of quality design and pillars of quality education, and engineer a program plan to take back to your organization. Attendees need not be part of a community college in order to participate – all are welcome to participate.
