The Sloan Consortium Announces Recipients of the 2013 Effective Practice Awards Honoring Innovation in Online Education

Awards will be presented at Sloan-C’s 19th Annual International Conference on Online Learning, Nov. 20-22, in Orlando, Florida

NEWBURYPORT, Mass. (Nov. 5, 2013) — The Sloan Consortium (Sloan-C) announced today it will present its 2013 Effective Practice Awards on Nov. 21, at the 19th Annual Sloan Consortium International Conference on Online Learning, at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

The Sloan-C Effective Practice Awards recognize and honor innovation in online learning. The award recipients have demonstrated leadership in advancing the goals of access, learning effectiveness, faculty and student satisfaction, and scalability.

The Sloan Consortium is now accepting submissions through December 30, 2103 for the next Effective Practice Awards. The awards focus on integrating new technologies into the online classroom and winners will be recognized at the 7th Annual Emerging Technologies for Online Learning International Symposium, April 9-11, 2014 at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel in Dallas, Texas.
