Extended Abstract

Like any new approach to teaching and learning, implementing a CBE initiative requires thoughtful planning and testing to be successful. Before taking the leap, it is important to consider how this change will impact your faculty and students in their day-to-day activities. Join us as we discuss the three key steps in developing a change management plan in preparation for rolling out your CBE initiative.

At its core, your change management program is about communication. Understanding the key stakeholder groups who will be impacted by the change. Thinking through how faculty, students, administrators and support staff will react to these changes. Creating a solid communication plan to address these concerns with your key stake-holders. And finally, creating a robust project plan to align everyone on the roll-out activities, communication and timelines that will guide the initiative.

We’ll share stories from customers who have successfully rolled-out CBE initiatives and discuss the potential pitfalls and opportunities that a CBE initiative provides.
