Extended Abstract

In this session, see how Top Hat, the market leader in open educational resources, has helped educators to bypass the traditional publishing model and create and implement OER in a completely reimagined way.

Top Hat's unique version of OER, delivered through the Top Hat Marketplace, resolves common concerns about the range, quality and ease-of-implementation of early OER. The value for colleges and universities is exponentially greater: a platform that allows educators to provide students with affordable, up-to-date and highly engaging digital content. Since debuting in the spring of 2017, OER from the Top Hat Marketplace has been embraced by thousands of American educators. This presentation will include a demonstration of the interactive content and intuitive authoring, revisions and community features of the Top Hat platform.
