Nate is an evangelist who connects people, ideas, and technologies to make things better, currently working with Hypothesis (https://web.hypothes.is), the nonprofit organization that stewards open, standards-based annotation technologies and practices. He has worked across a wide variety of public and private institutions, focusing on community development, digital communications, meaningful education, open technologies, and sustainable growth. Bill leads HP Education, focused on improving learning outcomes for every student, everywhere. Bill brings 20+ years of experience in the industry to his current role leading HP Education. Since joining HP in 1998, he has worked across multiple business units including Managed Services, Personal Systems, and the Imaging and Printing Group. Most recently, Bill led Business Development for Personal Systems, including the integration of recently acquired cyber-security company Bromium. Bill's functional experience is diverse and includes marketing, sales, finance, supply chain, services, logistics and operations. His passion for people and the business consistently translates into top and bottom line results. Prior to joining HP, Bill provided Document Management Services to Fortune 500 clients involved in complex litigation and regulatory matters. He holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a BS in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis. Bill is passionate about community both inside of HP, and in the broader community. Bill led the creation of HP's HBCU Case Competition, and serves as executive sponsor for multiple Diversity & Inclusion efforts inside of HP. Bill and his family reside in Eagle, Idaho and enjoy all the outdoor activities Idaho has to offer. Outside of work Bill serves on the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee for the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, on the Board of Directors of the Boise Chamber of Commerce, and as an Ambassador engaging the Idaho Legislature on behalf of Idaho Business for Education.
