Extended Abstract
This session will focus on the gamification of the instructional design process, showcasing mind-flexing approaches to developing instructional strategies through the use of play. Using a card game approach we will explore and improvise strategies to design, deliver, and promote rich learning environments, working through project stages such as inventory, clarification, interaction, and quality review.
Traditional Instructional Design models rely heavily on structured processes, providing replicable and scalable approaches at the expense of innovation and creativity. This playful approach breaks through obstacles in the instructional design process and guides us to challenge traditional methods in favor of original, inspired strategies.
