Extended Abstract
After interviewing more than 75 experts in teaching and learning for my podcast, a number of lessons have emerged. This session will recap the experts’ research and interviews and give participants a chance to weigh in. Educational technology will be used during the session to model the experts’ advice.
(1) Leverage technology to engage learners, but also know when to “teach naked.”
(2) Avoid making assumptions about students and their motives.
(3) Demonstrate high regard for students in the classroom and when engaging on social media.
