This presentation will explore the strategies used to build and foster relationships with non-traditional fully online students. We will be showcasing how we communicate, engage and cultivate belonging with our students, while being physically distanced.

With more students moving towards the online modality, it is necessary to identify ways to establish university affinity and support students regardless of where they are.
This session will explore the strategies used to build and foster relationships with non-traditional fully online students. We will be discussing how we communicate, engage and cultivate belonging with our students, while being physically distanced. Using a holistic approach with our students, the goal is to ensure they are not only supported academically but also gaining value from the journey.
The following topics will be discussed:
An overview of the coaching methodology and 8 focus areas, which have been identified as key markers to a student’s success, will be provided.
An analysis of the predictive analytics used to determine potential low to moderate pass rates for fully online students and the methods used to intervene to guide them towards success.
Showcasing the online resource hub through the Learning Management System which is used to offer a centralized support network for fully online students.
A presentation of the different engagement initiatives for fully online students including: webinar series, podcasts and the online student ambassador program.
