Don Stumpf, EdD

Don S. Stumpf serves as the campus director for Columbia College – Fort Stewart. Previously, Don served in the Georgia Air National Guard and worked for a number of defense contractors in various aspects of aviation maintenance before transitioning to higher education in 2000. He earned both, his Bachelor of General Studies and Master of Education degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University. Don completed post-graduate certificate programs in Instructional Design/Educational Technology and Adult Education. He earned his Doctorate of Education in Educational Administration from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia in 2007.

Don returned to the college’s Fort Stewart location after serving as the campus director for the Hunter Army Airfield location in Savannah, Georgia. Prior to his return to the college in December 2011, he served as the Director of Armstrong’s Liberty Center in Hinesville, Georgia. He taught as an Assistant Professor of Adult Education while at Armstrong, served as Graduate Coordinator for the Master of Education, Adult Education program, and was the Liberty County Director of Teacher Education Programs for the university. He previously served with Columbia College as the campus director for Columbia College – Fort Stewart from 2003 – 2008.
