Kip Pygman
Director, Illinois Virtual School
Kip became the new Illinois Virtual School director in July of 2018. Prior to his work at IVS, Kip was the inaugural director of the Expanding Learning Opportunities Consortium (eLo) where for four years he led an online learning consortium comprised of three Illinois school districts. Kip spent the first ten years of his professional career at Leyden High Schools starting as a business instructor and serving in other leadership roles including an online learning coordinator and response to intervention director. Kip holds a master’s in educational leadership from Concordia University and a master’s of educational technology from Boise State University. Kip currently sits on the Board of Directors as the Vice-Chair for Walther Christian Academy and is a member of the Illinois PK-12 Digital Learning Advisory Council.

Dr. Stacey Gonzales
Director of Curriculum & Instruction, Consolidated High School District 230
Dr. Stacey Gonzales serves as an enthusiastic, student-centered thought-leader in the field of K-12 education. She is currently the Director of Curriculum & Instruction at Consolidated High School District 230, an award-winning three high school district in the south suburbs of Chicago. She strives daily to inspire, motivate, and engage leadership teams to ensure each of the 8,000 high school students are well-prepared for their post-secondary experiences. Prior to this role, she served as Director of Innovation for Indian Prairie School District 204, the 4th largest K-12 school district in Illinois. Dr. Gonzales believes in connecting people and pedagogy to increase authentic learning experiences for students. She has received multiple awards and recognitions for her contributions to the field of education.
