STEM Online Education: Energizing the Future
This Research Symposium will discuss research-based solutions to one of the most daunting problems in American higher education – the continued loss of graduates in STEM areas. How do we counter the precipitous drop in STEM enrollments and how does the research being conducted enable STEM online programs to educate the workforce needed in STEM?
The panelists of this Research Symposium are members of the HP Catalyst Initiative, sponsored by Hewlett Packard. This network of educators explores new innovative approaches to teaching science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) courses online. These experts are also members of the Multi-Versity Consortium, led by Sloan-C and constructed around the idea of uplifting online STEM education worldwide.
