Brief Abstract
The Docsoft AV appliance is a software and hardware solution designed to audio mine the spoken content in digital audio files and can automatically generate text transcripts.
Presenters
Mike has been involved in technology sales since 1991 with offerings such as NetApp, Extreme Networks and many other high quality, superior hardware and software products. Over the years, he has worked for several custom application software vendors that have provided software to the oil and gas industry, banking industry, medical research and now educational and governmental industry with Docsoft. His hobbies include golf and spending time with his family at their lake house.
Extended Abstract
The presentation will show how Docsoft has successfully designed and developed and in-house system that will allow users to transcribe, time code and close caption their multimedia content, while saving both time and money. This will better enable users to meet the Section 504/508 compliance laws that affect each institution regarding captioning of the on line content they produce. This presentation will be designed to be informative, yet will allow the attendees to see how a file is processed, edited and captioned.
