Brief Abstract

Recognizing that incorporating academic video into instruction greatly increases engagement and student achievement, Cuyahoga Community College created a mobile, multi-stream recording platform for its online courses.

Presenters

With over 21 years of experience in instructional engineering and senior management in higher education, Thomas Kemp brings a rich knowledge to his current role as Executive Director, Online Learning and Academic Technology to Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio. He is responsible for online instructional technologies, including overseeing a learning management suite, engineering, new training initiatives, online learning marketing support, the colleges State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement, vendor online support technologies and online accreditation. Additionally, Thomas Co-Chairs the Distance Learning Steering Committee, Online Learning Taskforce and is responsible for community online engagement and planning and oversight of project development for future online instruction.
