Ben ScraggBen Scragg is the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Grants with the Online Learning Consortium. Through this work, Ben leads the strategy and management of a portfolio which includes grants, consulting, and strategic partnerships in order to advance excellence in online, digital, and blended learning across learning organizations. Within the OLC, Ben has served as a volunteer conference and program chair, and led engagement programming in the Technology Test Kitchen, Innovation Lab, and OLC Live! A veteran K12 educator with Chicago Public Schools, Ben has served as a learning specialist, instructional designer, and grant program manager at The Ohio State University. Prior to joining the OLC, Ben served as the Director of Design Initiatives in the Office of Scholarship and Innovation at Arizona State University’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, where he built school-community partnerships to reimagine and redesign schools, and developed the college’s Learning Futures initiative. Ben’s interests as a scholarly practitioner lie at the intersection of design, imagination, and futures studies. Ben earned his doctorate in educational leadership and innovation from Arizona State University, as well as master’s degrees in philosophy and business administration from The Ohio State University. |
