OLC Research Summit: Setting the Stage for your Research Journey!
Research is critical to the work we do each and every day as we support and create quality digital, blended, and online learning experiences. We often use research to guide us as we design and facilitate these learning experiences, but what do you do when you have a question that isn’t answered in the research or that isn’t answered in a way that creates answers for your organization? If you’ve ever wanted to set out on a research journey to get answers to burning questions you have, this summit is for you!
To set the stage for your research journey, the OLC Innovate Research Summit will begin with an overview of the current landscape of digital, blended, and online learning where the audience will be able to engage with current trends. In the second session, participants will learn about strategies they can utilize to conduct research to find answers to their burning questions. Finally, participants will have an opportunity to start building their future research project right at the conference!
The OLC Innovate Research Summit will consist of three, 45-minute sessions on Monday, March 15 that will feature presentations to guide participants, as well as time for reflection and networking. During these sessions, participants will:
All sessions listed in Central Time Zone.
This panel session will feature leading researchers sharing their insights and research around key trends in digital, blended, and online learning.
Have you ever wanted to design a research study, but didn’t know how to get started? This session will provide participants with the opportunity to brainstorm research questions they are interested in exploring and identify strategies they can leverage to find their answers!
You’ve reviewed the existing literature and landscape, you’ve designed your study, and you’re ready to get started with the research project. But – let’s pause for a moment. Before you dive in, let’s think about research and publication outcomes.
Registration for this event is included in your conference registration – there are no additional steps to register for these sessions other than your general conference registration. All sessions will be available for on-demand viewing for one (1) year post-conference.
