We’re inviting senior leaders and their trusted advisors (see examples below) for a chance to learn new things, collaborate, and network with us in Orlando, FL this fall.
Prior to joining our larger community at OLC Accelerate (November 15-17), the first annual OLC Leadership Symposium will convene the trailblazers and other influential voices in our field to discuss and debate our digital learning futures.
This one-day highly collaborative event is tailored for senior leaders to determine where we should collectively focus our attention in best addressing the ubiquitous challenges and promising opportunities for creating equitable, inclusive and quality online and blended education. The Leadership Network Symposium was inspired by the success of our previous Leadership Network events and requests from senior leaders for a dedicated meeting space.
The price of the symposium also includes a one-year membership in the OLC Leadership Network, with access to exclusive events, reports, publications, and networking opportunities from Nov 2022 – Nov 2023.
To encourage active dialogue and actionable next steps, registration will be limited to no more than 150 participants.
Tracks in the symposium will include:
- Marketing & Enrollment: Welcome students to new opportunities to learn and ensure they are adequately prepared to select a learning experience that best fits their needs and interests.
- Digital Strategy: Design best practice learning experiences by selecting tools and approaches.
- Workforce Education: Let the new ideas settle and build excitement among staff.
- Equitable and Inclusive Digital Learning Leadership: Peel off the layers and ensure the strategies deployed are equitable and inclusive.
- Emerging Leaders: See what others have created and decide what can and should be mixed in with your own strategies.
Plenary Speaker
Dr. Josie Ahlquist has trained thousands of professionals and students around the globe on how to thrive online and in life. As a speaker, researcher and author on digital leadership she takes a personal approach to transform how we view technology through the lens of empathy and empowerment that will result in stronger companies, communities, schools and future leaders.
For the fourth year in a row, she has been named to the “Top 50 Must–Read Higher Education Technology Blogs” by Ed Tech Magazine. Her podcast, Josie & The Podcast was featured by The Chronicle of Higher Ed as a podcast to subscribe to. You can find her blogging and podcasting at www.josieahlquist.com.
