We are thrilled to invite you to join your friends and colleagues at OLC Accelerate 2022! This year, we offer two #OLCAccelerate conference experiences, providing flexibility by adapting to the challenges of the global pandemic and the changing conditions of online education. Your connection to professional development, networking, learning, and sharing opportunities begins with a fully virtual conference experience November 1-3, 2022. Join us to strengthen connections, find new colleagues and friends, and reconnect with presenters and conference activities when OLC Accelerate attendees gather in sunny Orlando, FL at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resort November 14-17, 2022.

As always, our specialized program of best-in-class presenters, keynotes, and workshop opportunities will inspire your future work in online and blended teaching and learning. You will also find like-minded professionals from around the world as you expand your network of international colleagues. We hope you’ll attend this year’s summits that include a focus on leadership, research, instructional design, and blended learning. Whether you attend virtually, onsite, or in both modalities, you’ll have access to recorded sessions and asynchronous engagement activities for a year. In addition, you will expand your personal learning network for life!

If you are excited to meet new colleagues and friends or you are looking forward to reconnecting with old ones, #OLCAccelerate engagement activities are a great way to gather together to network, connect, and dive more deeply into online and blended teaching and learning.  Whether it is your first or fifteenth OLC conference, we’ll support and connect you through interactive streaming conversations from OLC Live!, introduce you to like-minded online and blended teaching and learning practitioners through Speed Networking activities, and provide conference assistance and engagement through our experienced OLC Field Guides. For those of you who are passionate about technology and problem solving, you can participate in interactive and hands-on learning and development experiences in the Technology Test Kitchen or use critical thinking and collaboration to find your way out of our educational Escape Rooms. After all that engagement, take a cognitive break to recharge, meditate, or do some yoga in the Sanctuary quiet space. OLC Accelerate 2022 provides attendees new and experienced with exceptionally collaborative, reflective opportunities to explore and share best practices and innovations. We hope you will attend, participate, and engage!

Be sure to keep an eye out for more information on these fantastic opportunities:

  • Engaging and interactive professional development presentations given by speakers from around the world
  • Opportunities to share and advance your own work
  • A variety of session types to fit your needs and interests
  • Access to the most advanced technologies to support online and blended learning
  • Unmatched networking and collaboration opportunities with other leaders in education
  • Leadership opportunities designed to support your professional growth and increase your career opportunities

It takes a village to create the #OLCAccelerate experience, and we are so grateful for our  steering committee and subcommittee volunteers from around the globe. From proposal reviewers to track chairs, session facilitators to  Field Guides; Technology Test Kitchen chefs to summit leaders; and all of our workshop presenters, #OLCAccelerate is created by and for online education practitioners, instructors and researchers. We thank each of you deeply for your contributions and proposals toward making the #OLCAccelerate ‘22 program our best yet. For those who plan to present your work and share your knowledge with us, #OLCAccelerate offers ongoing  presenter services to support you and infuse your presentations with interactivity and engagement.

Our call for presentations closed June 1.  We look forward to posting the full #OLCAccelerate program later this summer.
