Strategies To Incorporate Active Learning Into Your Online/Hybrid Course
Pre-Conference Workshop Session 2

Brief Abstract
In this interactive preconference workshop, participants will experiment with active learning strategies that are suitable for face-to-face environments, remote synchronous interactions, as well as for asynchronous interactions. They will also explore common challenges to active learning and collaboratively develop solutions for their learning contexts. Participants will walk away with concrete ideas and techniques that can be implemented immediately in their hybrid and online courses.
Presenters

Dr. Tazin Daniels is an educational developer, consultant and coach who specializes strategies for equitable online teaching. Currently, she is an Assistant Director at the Center for Research on Learning and Teaching at the University of Michigan. She also runs her own consulting platform, ThePedagologist.com, where she helps higher education professionals reach their goals of building inclusive and equitable learning environments and experiences.
