Now, more than ever, we must come together to share important research driving online teaching and learning. OLC would like to amplify the critical work of the many educators in the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Online Teaching and Learning (OTL) Special Interest Group (SIG). To do this, we would like to invite OTL SIG members who had their paper accepted to the AERA Annual Meeting (April 8-12, 2021) to present their work at the OLC Accelerate 2021 conference with no further review!

Benefits of Attending and Presenting at OLC Accelerate

  • Share your research findings with an audience dedicated to quality digital, blended, and online learning experiences;
  • Engage in dialogue around research-driven online teaching and learning practices; and
  • Network with attendees from various roles and different institution types!

Conference and Presentation Formats

Interested AERA OTL SIG members will have the option of presenting their accepted AERA 2021 papers in the following formats:

  • Pre-recorded 15-minute online discovery (electronic poster) presentation where they can interact with viewers asynchronously using PlayPosit
  • Synchronous 15-minute online presentation using Zoom that will be scheduled between September 20-24, 2021.
  • Synchronous 15-minute in-person presentation in Washington, D.C. that will be scheduled between October 5-8, 2021.
