Engagement and community is intentional and not an after-thought
We can explore, fail, play, grow, and learn together
We orient ourselves to the challenges to come, and map our learning journeys
We ran the first ever Mission Passport Challenge in 2019 and have brought it back due to popular demand. This year, we bring together these engagement opportunities once more through this interactive activity, and take it one step further by extending it to our virtual audience as well.
Joining us virtually? Be sure to visit the Engagement Team’s Canvas community space (accessible through the digital conference platform) to download an OLC Innovate Mission Passport to track your progress, level-up, and compete for prizes. Each level of the passport includes an opportunity to engage, learn, and win prizes.
Joining us onsite in Dallas? You’ll be able to grab a printed Mission Passport during the check-in process.
Join the mission and begin your own conference learning journey with us! See below for specific details for how to engage and get started.
How It Works
Each attendee will be provided a Mission Passport (either through the digital conference platform or at conference registration). The passport displays 3 challenge levels, with 4 available challenges per level (1 each from the Innovation Studio, Speed Networking Lounge, OLC Live!, and Field Guides). There is also a “bonus” level.
If playing virtually: After completing a challenge, attendees will report to the #mission-passport channel in the OLC Innovate Slack space for verification that the challenge is completed. Simply tag the space by starting a message with “Hey @channel,” and let the moderators know that you are participating and that you are ready for the next step. Once a challenge has been completed participants will be entered into the prize raffle for one of three $50 gift cards.
If playing onsite: After completing a challenge, attendees will report to the designated area (Innovation Studio, Speed Networking Lounge, OLC Live! or Field Guide station) for verification that the challenge is completed and receive a stamp for that challenge. Once a stamp has been received participants will be entered into the prize raffle for one of three $50 gift cards.
Participant names will be entered with each challenge they complete, meaning that the more you play the more likely you are to win. Winners will be drawn daily.
