1. Where can I find further details about the event?

For detailed information about the event, please visit the Program tab. The pages under the Program tab will be updated regularly as more information becomes available.

2. How do I register for the event?

To register online, please click on the Register tab and enter your information. You will need to be logged in to your OLC account in order to register. If you do not have an OLC account, you will be prompted to create one during the registration process. To register by phone, please call (781) 583-7552 during regular business hours M-F 9am-5pm (ET).

3. How do I register a group of people for the event?

Each attendee must be individually registered; group registrations are not available at this time, To register multiple individuals, you will need to sign-in using each individual participant’s OLC account username and password. 4. Does the cost of the event include accommodations? Where can I find details of location and accommodation options?

The registration fee does not include accommodations. All event sessions will be held at the Kauffman Foundation conference Center, 4801 Rockhill Rd, Kansas City, MO 64110 http://www.kauffman.org/who-we-are/kauffman-foundation-conference-center.

Rooms are available at the Raphael Hotel at event discounted rates starting at $165.00+ tax per night plus taxes until Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 12pm CT.   Discounted rooms are available for the evenings of Monday, February 23 and Tuesday, February 24. (Reservations link coming soon.)

Attendees are responsible for all room, tax, and personal charges from the hotel.

5. What is “OLC Collaborate”?

The OLC Collaborate Event is a regional, daylong event focused on emerging trends and challenges in online learning. It is designed for OLC members and non-members, practitioners (instructional designers, faculty), directors of online teaching and learning, and administrators (deans, provosts).

6. Will there be exhibits at the event? What opportunities are available for sponsors?

Tables will be available for our sponsors – we will not have traditional exhibit space. Questions on exhibit and sponsorship opportunities may be addressed to Christine Hinkley at christine.hinkley@onlinelearning-c.org.

7. Am I able to provide printed materials to be included in participant packages?

In an effort to be as “green” as possible, we do not hand out participant packages. Registered participants will receive a printed Schedule-at-a-Glance upon check-in. Presenters will post presentation materials to the event proceedings repository. We will also have scribes in each session, who will create a record of discussions to be shared with all participants.

8. Will there be a printed program book?
Online Learning Consortium is going green. There will not be a printed program book. OLC will provide a printed Schedule-at-a-Glance with basic program information upon check-in at the registration desk on-site.

9. Do you issue letters of invitation to attend the event?
We do not provide “Letters of Invitation” for international attendees to attend our events. Event participants from other countries must obtain a tourist or student visa on their own merit and not be dependent upon Letters of Invitation from OLC to acknowledge or sponsor their attendance. It is up to the applicant, and the applicant alone, to demonstrate his or her desire and compelling plans to return to their home country after a brief visit in order to qualify for a visa.

10. Can I get a refund if I cancel?
There will be no refunds within 1 week of the event date. If you are not able to attend, a substitute may attend in your place. The name of the substitute must be emailed to the conference@onlinelearning-c.org
