Getting There

All sessions will take place at OSU Memorial Union, 2501 SW Jefferson Way, Corvallis, OR 97331.

 

Parking

  • Daily parking permits are available for purchase online for $10 – $12. There are also meters available in parking lots throughout campus.
  • Campus Map – Turn on the “parking” toggle to show parking lots on campus
  • General visitor parking information and online purchasing of permits.
  • The Beaver Bus is free and also runs various routes through campus during the day.

Portland International Airport (PDX):

Out of area visitors can fly into the Portland International Airport (PDX). The airport is about 100 miles away from campus. 

Another option may be the airport in Eugene, OR (EUG), which is about 40 miles from campus. 

 

Ground Transportation

  • Groome Transportation (Oregon Express and HUT have combined) shuttle service from to/from PDX for $39 one way/$78 round trip. 
  • OmniShuttle provides service from Eugene to OSU for $29.50 one way. 
  • You can also rent a car, or use Uber, Lyft, or taxi from the airport. 
    • Estimated ride share fare is about $100 one way. 

 

What to do in and around town

There is a lot to do in and around Corvallis!  Downtown Corvallis has many locally owned stores and restaurants and runs alongside the Willamette River. Here are a few ideas and links to get you started. Make a few days of it!

  • Historic Carousel in Downtown Albany, OR  
  • LaSells Stewart Center – 875 SW 26th Street, Corvallis, OR 97331 – 
    The LaSells Stewart Center is a performing arts center on the OSU campus that serves as avenue for numerous concerts, plays, musicals and other performances. The LaSells Stewart Center serves Oregon State University and the Corvallis-area community as its premier performing arts, meeting, and conference center. Their 1,200-seat auditorium is world-renowned for its acoustic excellence.
  • The Arts Center – 700 SW Madison Avenue, Corvallis, OR 97333, OR97333
    The Arts Center features contemporary arts exhibits in an historic Carpenter Gothic church built in 1889. Exhibitions showcase regionally-known professionals, as well as veteran and emerging artists living in Linn and Benton counties. Fine arts and crafts from local artisans may be purchased from the entrance lobby ArtShop.
