The special conference rate for OLC Innovate 2023 is no longer available.  Room reservations can be made through Marriott.com, but at the current hotel market rate.

The Gaylord Opryland hotel is currently sold out for April 17, 18, and 19.  If you are looking for accommodations on those evenings, the Inn at Opryland (also a Marriott property) is a nearby option.  We also recommend checking back regularly  or directly with the hotel for room availability at Gaylord Opryland, as rooms do occasionally become available at the last minute due to general cancellations.

The Gaylord Opryland Resort will NOT be calling you to help you make a reservation – any solicitation like that is a scam. We do our best to halt any of this activity and appreciate any reports of this happening. Follow the Gaylord Opryland link that we provide above to make your reservations online to get our special conference rate.

Your support in staying at the OLC contracted hotel helps keep the conference costs down, which directly affects your registration fees. OLC contracts for the best possible room rates for its events and is required to guarantee a predetermined number of sleeping rooms. If the organization does not meet the contracted room block, the hotel can charge an attrition fee, which will result in higher registration fees at future conferences. Therefore, we encourage you to book your room through our block at the conference hotel.

*All reservations made after the blocks are filled and/or after the deadline will be available at the hotel’s prevailing rate and availability is not guaranteed.

Beware of Room Block Poachers: This is the practice of companies posing as an agent or representative of an organization offering hotel reservation services. They may offer a hotel room at a lower cost, and have an official sounding name such as “Exhibition Housing Management”. “Poachers” will immediately charge your credit card, sometimes with a “service fee,” and in many cases will not make a reservation. Be advised that this is NOT an official service, nor is it sanctioned by OLC. No attendee should be contacted about hotel reservations except by someone from OLC. If someone outside of OLC contacts you, we urge you to ignore them and report them immediately to OLC.

There is a lot to do in and around the Nashville. Here are a few ideas and links to get you started:

Grand Ole Opry Calendar of Events

Country Music Hall of Fame – Through exhibits, publications, and educational programs, the museum teaches its diverse audiences about the enduring beauty and cultural importance of country music.

Historic Studio B – A legacy landmark in the rich history of popular music in Nashville and the U.S. The museum makes Studio B accessible to the public through regular tours, educational programs, and events.

The Ryman – When you walk through the doors of the historic Ryman Auditorium, one thing becomes clear right away: this isn’t just another nightly music venue, and it’s so much more than a daytime tourist stop. This place is hallowed ground. This is the exact spot where bluegrass was born, where Johnny Cash met June Carter, where souls were saved and a slice of history was nearly lost. It was right here that country music found an audience beyond its own back porch, and countless careers took off as deals were signed on napkins and paper scraps backstage. This is a building where anything is possible: a soul can find redemption, a crumbling building can find salvation, and an unknown kid with a guitar can find their name in lights.

Backstage at the Grand Ole Opry – There’s nothing like a backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry House; it’s a must-see for everyone in Music City! Walk in the footsteps of country music’s superstars and get an exclusive look at what happens behind the scenes of the show that made country music famous!

Johnny Cash Museum – The Johnny Cash Museum features the world’s largest collection of Johnny Cash artifacts and memorabilia in the world.

Historic Carnton Plantation – Built in 1826 by former Nashville mayor Randal McGavock, Carnton became the largest hospital in the area following the Civil War Battle of Franklin.

The Hermitage –  Take a walk through Andrew Jackson’s life and home, explore a beautiful, vintage Tennessee farm, and experience an important piece of Nashville and our nation.

The 12 Best Things to Do in Nashville – Learn about which Honky Tonk Bars to visit on Broadway and other Nashville highlights.

The Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center offers a variety of dining options onsite. Please download the Marriott Bonvoy mobile app or visit their website for additional information about their many diverse restaurant and lounge options.

Additional dining options are within walking, shuttle, or short Uber/Lyft distance nearby.
