What Are the OLC Quality Scorecards?

The OLC Quality Scorecards are self-assessment tools that help individuals and institutions evaluate the design and delivery of their digital learning offerings using proven quality benchmarks. Each scorecard outlines critical areas aligned to best practices in digital education and provides a structured framework to:

Available Scorecards

OLC offers its suite of Quality Scorecards as open access resources to support institutions around the world in their pursuit of excellence in digital learning. By making these tools freely available, we demonstrate our commitment to advancing high-quality, inclusive education on a global scale.

Institutions of all types are welcome to use the scorecards for internal quality improvement, accreditation preparation, or strategic planning. For those seeking additional support, OLC members receive access to enhanced tools and benefits designed to improve implementation.

Program-Level Scorecards

Use these tools to evaluate how effectively your institution supports and manages online and blended learning programs.

Administration of Online Programs: Evaluate institutional policies, leadership, budget, governance, and scalability.
Administration of Blended Learning Programs: Review the strategy, structure, and integration of blended learning models.
Administration of Online Student Support: Examine the availability and quality of student-facing services such as advising, tutoring, accessibility, and mental health.

Course-Level Scorecard

Assess the design and delivery of individual courses for alignment with quality standards in digital learning.
