OLC Event Registration Polices
As a small non-profit organization, we strive to create registration policies that offer flexibility to accommodate the unforeseen circumstances that participants may face, while also sustaining our support and services across our community.
As such, we have established the following policies for OLC Conferences/Events.
Payment Policy
- Access to the event will not be provided until full payment is received by non-members. OLC members (Professional and Institutional) must pre-register (complimentary) to gain access to the event.
- All accepted presenters must register for the event (per member or non-member rates as applicable).
Event registration may be paid with a credit card, check, or wire transfer. - Purchase orders are accepted at registration, but must be paid in full before access is granted.
- Registration may be paid with a valid, unexpired OLC credit memo.
- No refunds will be made on credit memos.
- Credit memos are transferable within an institution.
Substitution and Conversion Policy
- Substitutions to a different attendee are allowed one time and must be made by Monday, July 20, 2026. No substitutions will be allowed after this date.
- No substitution fee is assessed for the first substitution of an attendee. A $50 fee will be assessed for each subsequent substitution for non-member attendees.
- The request for substitution, along with the name and email address of the previous registrant plus the substitute must be emailed to conference@onlinelearning-c.org.
Cancellation Policy
- On or before July 2, 2026:
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to conference@onlinelearning-c.org.
- A 20% cancellation fee will be deducted from the non-member refunded amount, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
- Credit memos may be requested for non-member registrations instead of a refund. Credit memos will not have a cancellation fee applied. See credit memos policy below.
- After July 2, 2026, 11:59pm ET:
- No cancellations are allowed.
- No refunds or credit memos will be issued for cancellation or non-attendance, regardless of the reason for the cancellation or non-attendance.
Credit Memos
- Credit memos are transferable within your organization.
- Credit memos issued for Elevate 2026 expire on December 31, 2027.
Nonattendance or Change in Form of Conference
If you do not attend the program and do not submit a written request for refund, credit memo, or substitution request by July 2, 2026, the Online Learning Consortium will retain all fees. OLC strives to deliver our events as scheduled. However, we reserve the right to reschedule, restructure or cancel a program due to unforeseen extenuating circumstances or low registration.

Non-Exhibitor Solicitation Restrictions
In order to protect our valued sponsors and the significant investment they have made to participate as a partner at the event, our rules strictly prohibit solicitation by attendees who do NOT have sponsorship of the event. Any non-sponsors who are observed soliciting business at the event, a practice known as “suitcasing” or “outboarding”, will be removed from the virtual venue immediately. Individuals and companies found to be suitcasing or outboarding may also be excluded from future OLC events.
