OLC is a global community dedicated to conversations that advance online, blended, and digital learning for all learners. Proctoring is definitely a topic we should be discussing. We value open dialogue and a commitment to continuous improvement, including providing a space where those conversations can happen.

We respect the decision that Dr. Rajiv Jhangiani is making and support him in moving his keynote to our Accelerate conference in October. We also look forward to his contribution as an OLC Innovate attendee and active advocate. We would never ask anyone in our community to compromise their principles, especially in regard to the space to have open and critical conversations surrounding the digital technologies available to us.

Technology that supports online learning must address concerns about equity, inclusion, privacy, ethics and more to best serve all students. While the focus of OLC Innovate extends far beyond proctoring, we are currently working on a plan to host a post-conference discussion specific to proctoring and would like to invite you to participate in its design.
