Digital Marketing Manager

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you are responsible for supporting the organization’s marketing and sales goals. This will be accomplished by creating and managing compelling marketing messaging and content for the company website, advertising and collateral materials and through tracking and analytics of success-based measures. 

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Digital Marketing Manager will support the Director of Marketing and the organization by providing a balance of skills geared toward customer acquisition, lead generation, upsell, and nurture opportunities, including Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website. This position requires strong copy writing, design, and analytics skills, plus expertise in marketing and analytics technologies, social media and email marketing platforms and tools. The ideal candidate will be a strong team-player, able to manage multiple and shifting priorities, be self-motivated and have strong time-management skills. This is a full-time, virtual (work at home) position that requires regular working hours based on eastern or central U. S. time zones.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design: Designs/edits marketing collateral, posters, ads, website updates and other marketing materials
  • Copywriting: Website, marketing and sales collateral, email templates
  • Website: Creates microsites, landing pages, navigation, imagery and SEO for all pages with special attention to accessibility, responsive design and mobile requirements. Works closely with the marketing team, departmental team members and IT department
  • Analytics & Advertising: Performs regular marketing analytics for tracking and optimization of website and promotions using Google analytics and social media platforms reporting to provide effective analytics for results of advertising, website traffic, form responses, etc.
  • Social Media Support: Create compelling social media posts; scheduling, and tracking/analytics/reporting

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Thorough understanding of digital and some traditional marketing, such as online, mobile, social media, lead generation, lead list nurture and management
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat), Illustrator, HTML.
  • Experience with UX/UI and web design
  • Experience with Pardot or similar marketing automation software (i.e. Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua)
  • Expertise/experience with SEO, Google analytics
  • Expertise/experience with social media posting, scheduling, analytics, reporting
  • Experience with CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce) a plus
  • Experience with CSS; WordPress experience a plus
  • Google Adwords experience a plus
  • Knowledge of digital and print accessibility requirements for collateral materials and website
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team, as well as independently (essential)
  • Excellent writing skills especially focused on content-marketing and customer perspectives
  • Ability to self-manage in a virtual work environment
  • Ability to manage shifting and multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Sales/marketing focus partnered with a creative mind

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 10 years of digital marketing experience with a focus on design, copywriting and website content management geared toward customer acquisition, lead generation, upsell, and nurture opportunities. 

  • BS degree in business or related field, preferably with marketing or management focus.

REPORTING:

Reports directly to the Director of Marketing

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Home office, virtual environment with regular working hours based on eastern or central U. S. time zones
