Parking – Parking will be available for OLC Collaborate Attendees in Garage H. Attendees will be emailed a placard to print out to place in their dash in the garage in order to have the parking fee covered by OLC.
There is a lot to do in and around Orlando. UCF is located 13 miles east-northeast of downtown Orlando and 49 miles south-southwest of New Smyrna Beach. Here are a few ideas and links to get you started. Make a few days of it!

Theme Parks – Orlando is packed with parks. Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom parks, Seaworld, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure – and the list continues.
Located near Oviedo, about 6 miles away, the UCF main campus is convenient to Historic Downtown Oviedo with attractions such as Black Hammock Adventures airboat rides on beautiful Lake Jessup and the Lukas Butterfly Encounter at Lukas Nursery. Part of Oviedo’s southern charm is the population of chickens that roam the downtown area often stopping traffic as they cross the roads.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center (36 miles east of UCF) – The visitor center at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center features exhibits and displays, historic spacecraft and memorabilia, shows, two IMAX theaters, a range of bus tours of the spaceport, and the Shuttle Launch Experience, a simulated ride into space.
The university was founded by the Florida Legislature in 1963 as Florida Technological University with the mission of providing personnel to support the grown US space program at the Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on Florida’s Space Coast.
Winter Park, FL (9 miles from UCF campus) – Once considered a winter resort, the arts and culture filled city is a nature lover’s destination. Here you will find more than 70 parks, all home to various events, festivals and celebrations throughout the year.
