As a small non-profit organization, we strive to create refund/cancellation policies that offer flexibility to accommodate the unforeseen circumstances that participants may face, while also sustaining our support and services across our community.  As such, we have established the following policies for OLC Innovate 2021:

  • Full payment of conference registration fee must be made prior to the start of the conference
  • Unexpired credit memos previously issued for Innovate 2020 may be used for conference registration. Any remaining balance will be carried forward as a credit memo with an expiration of December 31, 2021. No refunds will be made on credit memos. 
  • Full Virtual Pass provides virtual attendee registration (OLC Innovate) with live-stream access and access to on-demand recordings for all virtual-to-virtual sessions for one (1) year post-conference
    • Full Virtual Pass is refundable with full credit memo only up to 30 days prior to event start date. Request must be received in writing to conference@onlinelearning-c.org.
      • Full credit memo only
        • Credit memo good for any OLC product (excluding membership and IELOL fees) through December 31, 2021
        • Credit memo is transferable within your organization 
        • If registration was paid with a credit memo, refund will be in the form of a credit memo to expire December 31, 2021. 
    • Substitution of registration to a different attendee (one time) for an Full Virtual Pass allowed at no fee 

Refund and cancellation requests must be made in writing to conference@onlinelearning-c.org. Refunds will be made to the original form of payment for the event when possible (i.e., credit memo, credit card, or check).

If you are not able to attend virtually, you may substitute another individual in your place (one time) at no additional fee. The name and email address of the substitute must be emailed to The Online Learning Consortium. If you do not attend the program and do not submit a written refund or credit memo request, The Online Learning Consortium will retain all fees. The Online Learning Consortium is not responsible for any change/cancellation charges assessed by airlines, travel agents, hotels or other similar vendors. OLC strives to deliver our events as scheduled. However, we reserve the right to reschedule, restructure or cancel a program due to unforeseen extenuating circumstances or low registration.

  • From the event registration page, select “Manage my Registration”
  • Select the “…” dropdown button next to your attendee record
  • Select “Purchase New Sessions” from the dropdown
  • Select the pre-conference workshop you will like to add to your registration
  • Continue the checkout process to complete your purchase

Below are some specific ways in which your data is shared during the OLC Innovate conference to enhance your experience during the virtual conference: 1) Participant List – for those who have not opted out, your name, title, and organization will be included on the virtual platform for networking purposes. 2) Exhibit Booths – by interacting with an exhibit booth on the virtual platform, your name, organization, title, country, and email address will be shared with the exhibiting company.

In order to protect our valued exhibitors and sponsors and the significant investment they have made to participate as a partner at the conference, our rules strictly prohibit solicitation by attendees who do NOT have exhibit booths. Any non-exhibitors who are observed soliciting business at the conference, a practice known as “suitcasing” or “outboarding”, will be asked to leave immediately. Individuals and companies found to be suitcasing or outboarding may also be excluded from future conferences.
