In this webinar, we will explore the potential of augmented and virtual environments—sometimes known collectively as the metaverse—within the context of online, blended, and digital learning. Specifically, we’ll consider:
- What does a virtual campus offer in terms of community building, collaboration, and a sense of belonging, beyond what is available in synchronous platforms or asynchronous activities?
- How can specific disciplines benefit from using such virtual environments?
- What are the most effective pedagogical practices within these spaces?
