This scholarship was established to provide access and opportunities to online learning professionals who are part of a historically excluded community, based on race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability differences, socioeconomic status, etc. Preference will be given to nominees who have made significant contributions to the field focused on equity and inclusion.
Recipients will be recognized at the next conference with a commemorative plaque and will receive Innovate conference registration, 3 nights hotel room, and a $300 travel stipend. For Innovate 2022, recipients may elect to receive Full Virtual Pass, Up to 100 Group Package, in lieu of the in-person registration and travel expenses.
Nominations and Submissions
The Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Scholarship is evaluated on the nominee’s leadership and contributions to the field of online learning with a focus on equity, inclusion, diversity and advocacy.
Materials required for submission:
- The nominee’s CV
- Three letters of support addressing the evaluation criteria
Timeline of Important Dates:
- January 19, 2022 – Awards submission opens!
- February 22, 2022 – Submissions due
- March 4, 2022 – Winners notified
- April 11-14, 2022 – OLC Innovate 2022
