As a self-sustaining, nonprofit organization OLC funds much of what we do through membership fees and revenues generated from activities like conferences and professional development. We also rely on the generous support provided by our community to help us to achieve our goals and to continue fulfilling our mission. Your tax-deductible (check with your tax advisor) donations are greatly appreciated.
How Are Donations Used?
Donations received are used towards the following activities at the OLC:
-
- Scholarships to OLC conferences, IELOL, and IELOL Global
- Support the freely available, open-access Online Learning Journal
- Support our efforts to share information about quality in online, blended and digital learning through the OLC Research Center and other initiatives that align with our strategic plan
How Does the OLC Recognize Donors?
The OLC will recognize our donors twice a year at the OLC conferences. Additional recognition opportunities may be added throughout the year, including adding names of donors to a special page on our website and recognition in special donor newsletters.
