Step Two: Browse Professional Learning Experiences

Programming available to HCC faculty through the OLC is designed to fit your interests, schedule, and needs as a learner:

  • If you want to engage directly with subject matter experts and other HCC faculty on a specific topic, OLC workshops feature synchronous and asynchronous activities set to a specific schedule.
  • If you prefer to peruse on-demand content at your own pace, register to review recordings from the most recent Blended Learning Symposium and/or OLC Accelerate conference.
  • If flexibility is what you’re after, the upcoming OLC Innovate conference gives you the option of attending sessions in real-time or on demand at a later date.

Step Three: Enroll, Participate, and Complete Experiences

Turning in Invoices for Funding: After registering, HCC faculty are responsible for uploading invoices to the HEERF Professional Development Funds Request Form for review and approval. Once HCC releases funds to you, submit payment to OLC.

NOTE: The OLC must receive payment before you gain access to a workshop or event.

Receiving Your Participation Stipend: Once you’ve completed a workshop or event, you need to upload your proof of completion certificate via the HEERF Professional Development Proof of Completion form. Workshops will generate an “award of completion” once they conclude. “Certificates of attendance” for conferences and symposia may be requested by emailing OLC Customer Service.
