In recent weeks, U.S. News & World Report released the annual ranking of Best Online Colleges of 2017. The Online Learning Consortium is pleased to announce that OLC Board member, Mary Niemiec, is associated with multiple programs listed in the annual rankings.

Niemiec is Associate Vice President for Digital Education and Director of NU Online Worldwide at the University of Nebraska. As noted in the university’s press release, NU Online Worldwide had 8 programs listed in the rankings, including it’s Master of Science in criminology and criminal justice that was ranked 2nd in it’s category.  Niemiec notes, “We are very pleased that so many of the University of Nebraska campuses’ online programs were recognized in the US News rankings.  The national rankings are a testament to the commitment by our faculty and University to access, opportunity and student success.”  Congratulations to Mary and the entire University of Nebraska System!
