When we first sat down to plan the Accelerate 2025 program, we weren’t just building a conference schedule — we were sketching a vision for the next 30 years of digital learning. The proposals we read made one thing clear: our community is not waiting for change to happen; we’re building it, testing it, laughing through it, and sometimes even dancing in the middle of it.
This year’s theme, “The Next 30 Years: Vision, Inspiration, and Transformation,” is more than a tagline. It’s a challenge we’ve issued to ourselves: How do we create a program that reflects where education is headed, without losing sight of the people at its heart?
And this year, we’ll be doing it together, in one shared space, November 17–20 at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin in Orlando, Florida.
Threads That Wove the Program Together
We also saw a deep commitment to accessibility. The work goes far beyond compliance, showing how universal design principles and responsive pedagogies can create digital learning environments that empower every learner to succeed.
Other priorities emerged repeatedly, including HyFlex and multimodal learning models, faculty development and support, student agency and voice, data-informed decision-making, digital wellness and belonging, and leading digital learning efforts during times of change.
Together, these threads form a program that reflects where digital learning is today and the shared vision that will carry it forward.
More Than Sessions: Experiences
Accelerate 2025 is designed to be more than a series of presentations. It’s an environment where you can learn, connect, and experiment alongside peers who share your passion for digital learning.
A highlight this year is our new Hands-On AI Exploration Zone, where you’ll have the chance to interact directly with emerging tools, see live demonstrations, and explore practical applications you can bring back to your work.
Beyond that, the program includes opportunities for active participation, skill-building, and creative problem-solving. From immersive workshops to collaborative design challenges, you’ll find spaces that encourage conversation, spark ideas, and invite you to step outside your routine.
We’ve also intentionally built in time for informal connections — because we know that the best ideas often emerge over coffee, in hallway conversations, or during moments you didn’t plan. Whether you’re seeking inspiration, collaboration, or a renewed sense of purpose, you’ll find it here.

Every year, Accelerate is a gathering of people who see not just what’s possible, but what’s necessary. This year’s program is richer than ever — not because of us, but because of you.
