“I first attended an OLC conference in Orlando, probably in 2002 or 2003. I was one of the few people in my university that was teaching anything online. I had a blended class and one online workshop. Without any in-house support, I looked to the OLC conference to learn more and develop my online teaching skills. Not only did I learn, but I found a community of learning that extended for years to come. For the past five years, I’ve worked with the OLC Conference staff at both Accelerate and Innovate because of my MERLOT position. I can’t wait to see these terrific folks in fall and spring. It’s a caring, supportive community. I learn something at every conference and look forward to the next one.”
