We are delighted to welcome you to OLC Accelerate 2024, celebrating our 30th anniversary of championing quality and innovation in online education. As the conference chair and executive co-chairs, we are excited to host you in the magical city of Orlando, Florida, where we will gather to inspire each other, connect with friends, colleagues, and peers, and advance the future of online learning together.

This year marks an incredible milestone as we celebrate 30 years of impact. In recognition of this achievement, our theme for the 2024 conference is “30 Years of Magic: Envisioning a New Era of Digital Learning.” The OLC Accelerate experience is made possible thanks to the tireless efforts of our steering committee and volunteers from around the globe. From proposal reviewers to track chairs, engagement session facilitators to Field Guides; Technology Test Kitchen chefs to summit leaders –  #OLCAccelerate is a conference created by and for online education practitioners, instructors, and researchers. We deeply thank each of you for your invaluable contributions and proposals, making this year’s program the best yet.

Our dynamic program embodies the spirit of innovation and future possibilities. It features a wide range of engaging and interactive professional development presentations from speakers around the world. With express workshops, lightning sessions, discovery sessions, and gamified sessions as options in addition to more traditional session types, there’s a format to meet everyone’s needs and interests. As we return to our familiar venue, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, you’ll have opportunities to share and advance your work, access the most advanced technologies supporting online learning, and immerse yourself in unmatched networking and collaboration opportunities with other education leaders.

For those presenting, #OLCAccelerate offers ongoing presenter services to support you and infuse your presentations with interactivity and engagement. We are also thrilled to provide leadership opportunities that support professional growth and career advancement, helping you make the most of your time at the conference.

Our call for presentations has closed.  Notifications for presenters will be sent August 1.  We look forward to posting the full #OLCAccelerate program later this summer.
